Come and Worship the Lord with us. Each day but especially on Sundays, our Liturgical celebrations gather our diverse faith community to hear the Word of God and share in the Eucharistic table of the Lord. You will find a unique atmosphere of fellowship and welcome at each of the different mass times that we celebrate, we hope you feel at home here. Ministers from our community will welcome you to help you to feel comfortable. Our lectors and eucharistic ministers and altar servers are members of the parish. The pastor, Fr. Dan is a Franciscan Friar of the Atonement, the religious community that serves the parish.
The Saturday evening anticipated Sunday liturgy at 5:30 PM features an organist, Michael Thibodeau and a soloist often, Antoine Pellerin, to lead the congregation in song. At 8:30 AM the morning worshipers are welcomed with the joyful song of Dan Godin a guitar and vocal soloist. At 10:00 AM and the family oriented liturgy gathers the community with the multi instrumental and Spirit Filled Choir led by Susan McElcheran that engages the community in praise and worship with enthusiasm and love. People of all ages and sizes fill the Church with their participation in this lively liturgy. Following this liturgy there is a weekly social that is sponsored by various families who bring goodies to have with coffee and tea. It is always a joyful gathering. At 12:00 Noon, a traditional choir engages the congregation in song, their Spirit and Joy is contagious to all who participate. At 7:00 PM we have what some call the "last chance liturgy". This is a misnomer since many of these congregants come every week, but it is a place where people from other parishes come for the convenience of the time, yes, all are welcome. At this mass an informal ensemble leads the singing. Once a month we have a social following this mass where folks get to know one another. Once a month we celebrate baptisms within the liturgies so we can all participate in the joy of this sacrament of initiation for infants. It is always interesting to see the different characteristics of these varied celebrations. We hope you will feel at home as you worship the Lord with us in the Eucharist which is the source and summit of our life as Christians.
May God bless you abundantly in Love and thanksgiving as you praise and worship with us, Welcome once again and thank you. A Message from Fr. Dan
