FIRST COMMUNION

The Sacramental preparation program for First Holy Communion begins directly after First Reconciliation, and the Sacrament is celebrated in the Spring. Children must have received the Sacrament of Reconciliation before participating in the program to receive First Holy Communion.

Children who attend Catholic schools are required to participate in one year of Sacrament preparation for Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Children who attend public or private schools are required to participate in two years of Sacramental preparation for Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
